The SUWC is now holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) as the COVID Officer role is open.

Being on the committee, you will get to decide how the club is run and help out with everything from our usual weekly walks and socials to our exciting trips. It is a lot of fun, highly rewarding, and of course helps strengthen your teamwork, leadership, communication and organisational skills - all of which look great on your CV.

We are again using our tried and tested online EGM method!

Covid Officer:

The covid officer ensures that club activities are within covid guidelines as set by the government, the university, and relevant national governing bodies. Information on the restrictions should be readily available for members.

Step 1: Manifesto Registration

If you are interested in

running for the committee position, then please fill out the following Google Form with the required details. You will be able to add a manifesto to try and convince people as to why you would be the most suitable for this role.

The word limit is 500 words, but don’t worry we don’t expect them to be that long!

The deadline for submission is Monday 6th December 2021 at 6 pm.

Step 2: Voting

We shall then circulate a second Google Form with everyone’s manifestos to allow club members to vote for their preferred candidates. All positions will have the opportunity for members to vote RON (rerun of nomination) if you feel none of the proposed candidates is suitable.

Please note that this form will only be emailed to you if you’re signed up to our email.

The deadline for submission is Thursday 9th December 2021 at 6:30 pm.

The results will then be announced in an online EGM on Thursday 9th December 2021 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
